Notes from 3/12/13 - The Experience Meeting
Following our Checkpoint meeting last we’ve consolidated the feedback and are going to make the following changes:
- We’re retiring Chat for now. It’s a topic of discussion for the future but we’re not equipped for the commitment required today
- This forces us to provide a new method for defining ‘Your Network’
- This removes the tab toggle from the top of The Experience
- We want to add comment functionality to Bulletin content
- It’s unclear if comments will live in the shadow box or the feed
- The bucket filters seem like overkill for the amount of content we expect to have initially, we’re removing the buckets for now
- We discussed weighting the bulletin board content and leaving out the automatic rotation
Additionally the following functionality needs to be addressed:
- Pre-login display
- Managing Your Network
- We’ve talked about auto-populating and managing this for the customer
- Email notifications
- We’re not sure there are many experience-specific notifications
- What does the experience look like as an internal business tool
- Decide on how to present targeted sharing (through the WOYM window, as a Share icon available on all feed content, etc).
- We need to define sharing / commenting / replying and use them consistently
- Discuss: How does commenting work for a Laddawn employee as compared to a Laddawn customer. Consider the Laddawn employee’s garden and network vs the customer’s garden.
- Laddawn employees might need targeted commenting to Orgs, it’s unlikely they will share globally so that multiple customers can reply to the same post – or will they?
