Laddawn.com : Design Issues with Active Cart

  1. Item Number:  We need a final decision on do we show customer part numbers or our part number?
    1. Not deciding on this means, we are deciding to show our part number never the customer’s part number.
  2. UOM Selection:  Do we need to save what the customer has selected as a different pricing UOM?  If they choose LB for a line on the Cart, go back to the shop tab, does it need to be saved when they come back to the cart tab? What if they leave the site?
    1. Not deciding this means we are deciding to always go back to our stocking UOM.
  3. The wiki says “If MOD item quantity is edited, and triggers pricebreak, then item row refreshes with higher or lower price”.  This indicates that we are changing the MOD pricebreaks to be stepped breaks rather than the progressive pricing we do today.  Is this true?
    1. Not addressing this means the wiki is wrong and we will continue to priceMOD items on a sliding scale as we do today.
  4. Does changing the qty on a MOD item automatically reprice? Or do we notify the customer that this change may affect pricing and availability?
    1. Not addressing this means we will not prompt the customer, automatically recalculate and replacethe priceand availability.
  5. If the customer enters a large quantity (100K plus for example) do we take that quantity into account when calculating availability?
    1. Not deciding on this means we are deciding to ignore quantity when calculating availability.
  6. When the customer changes the ship-to zip for a cart do we recheck the availability dates for all of the items?  Do we repriceall the MOD items that have freight included?
    1. Not deciding on this will mean we do reset the availability dates for all of the items, and we will repriceany MOD items that have freight included.
