The following details the current configurator questions showing their Format, Defaults, and Rules/Validations. This list is in the order in which these questions are currently asked. This does not include back-end processes such as BOM creation, Work Center assignment with operation details, or pricing/price breaks (non-material, material, packaging, shipping, upcharges, etc). The configurator will continue to pass prices, BOM's, routings, item description, and w/o info to the Avante system using the answers passed from the web.

- Default: None
- If Printed = Y, a range of 4-98" is shown but anything < 9" or > 98" shows an error message telling them that because they are printing, the range is not 4" but 9". This was designed this way so that customer would know that we can manufacture a width of as little as 4" but that we can't print on it
- If Material=LLD and LayflatorGusseted=Layflat OR Material=Anti Static and Anti Static Resin Base=Linear Low Density and LayflatorGusseted=Layflat -> Range of 8" - 98" ***sheeting: replace 'Layflat' with 'Centerfold'

- Msg5: The Width - Depth Spread Must Be Between 6" and 68"
- Msg6: We are unable to produce this product with the 2.5mil gauge necessary to make it opaque. If you select COLOR instead, we will attempt to make the bag as opaque as possible.
- Msg7: Width+Depth cannot exceed 150"
- If Depth>0 and Printed=Y and Width >=13" <18" and Gusset Gap >0" <9" -> Displays Msg2
- If Depth>0 <18 and Printed=Y and Width >=18" and Gusset Gap >0" <9" -> Displays Msg3

- TUBING/ROLLTUBE - same rules/messages as BAGS
- This criteria validates width/gusset limits (width-depth) and displays one of the following messages explaining to the user what needs to be changed. Gusset Gap referred to below is calculated as Width-Depth.
- Length (In): (criteria 4)
- Format: MD2 (range of 0-999 except under conditions below)
- If Printed=Y and (Depth >0 or Width >= 24 or Sleeves=Y) -> range of 8" - 288"

- Relationships: Standard Nominal Gauge (C302), True Gauge Is (C184)
- SHEETING/ROLLSHEET/SOR have the same rules as BAGS in section Y. above (exceptions after initial rules are applied) They don't have rules 9-12 because low gauge can never be <1, but won't hurt to keep these rules for 3 sheeting types
- TUBING/ROLLTUBE has same rules as BAGS in section Y. above. They do include rules 9-12 re: gauge < 1mil.
- Standard Nominal Gauge: (criteria 302)
- Format: (Table List) Nominal Gauge,Full Gauge
- Default: Nominal Gauge
- Choose one from the above list
- Under the following conditions, this field is forced to Full Gauge and user is not prompted:
- Anti Static Resin Base = Mil Spec and Gauge < 4.4
- Opacity = Opaque and Gauge < 2.9
- Material = Non Slip and Gauge < 1.1
- Gauge < 1
- Material = VCI and Gauge < 2
- Material = Non Scratch and Gauge < 1.1
- Relationships: True Gauge Is (criteria 184)
- FURN-doesn't have Non Sctach < 1.10 rule, but per David this rule should apply to FURN also (so no changes required)
- SHEETING - doesn't have this question - sheeting is always full gauge
- ROLLSHEET - Unlike BAGS, it defaults to Full Gauge but can be nominal. Forced to full gauge under the same conditions as stated for BAGS in (d) above.
- SOR - Works just like BAGS (defaults to Nominal Gauge and forces to full gauge using the same 6 rules
- TUBING - doesn't have this question - tubing is always full gauge
- ROLLTUBE - has the same rules as BAGS to force to full gauge in (d) above, but default is Full Gauge for Rolltube when prompted
- TRUE GAUGE IS: (criteria 184)
- Format: MD2
- If Standard Nominal Gauge = Full Gauge OR Gauge < 1 -> set true gauge = entered gauge SHEETING always Full Gauge so no changes reqd; SOR follows same rules as BAGS; TUBING always full gauge; ROLLTUBE follows same rules as BAGS
- If doesn't meet above criteria -> set true gauge using configurator table TRUE_GAUGE by locating the entered gauge
- XDIMENSION & HGT MIN/MAX: (criteria 424)
- Format: M0X
- If Printed = Y, calculate Xdimension and image height min/max range for later use when entering plate info:
- Calls BP SOPS9147.1 passing the entered bag length in PARAM<1> -> This program returns XDIM, Minimum Image Height, and Maximum Image Height (for input range) and also writes a record named PLATES to the TXX file which contains: <1>=X1(1UP IMAGE); <2>=X2(2UP IMAGE); < 3>=X3(3UP IMAGE); <4>=BAG LENGTH
- FURN - passes Width instead of Length
- SHEETING - passes "LB" instead of Length; ROLLSHEET passes "RL" instead of Length (because they're continuous and have no length)
- SOR - passes Length (like BAGS)
- TUBING - passes "LB" instead of Length; ROLLTUBE passes "RL"
- MIN IMAGE HEIGHT: (criteria 425)
- Format: MD1
- Calculated and passed from criteria 424 above
- MAX IMAGE HEIGHT: (criteria 426)
- Format: MD1
- Calculated and passed from criteria 424 above
- Plate Number:(criteria 418)
- Format: (Table List) - built dynamically - list of custom plates belonging to the customer's sales organization display first, then all stock plates display next
- If Printed = Y, this presents a list to the customer of all Stock Plates as well as all Custom Plates that belong to the customer's sales organization. First item in the list is '0' which allows the entry of a New Plate, which will then need additional prompting to get plate specifics. List is built in BPEZ FEBS040.11 and BP EPCS9006.1
- VALIDATE PLATE#:(criteria 431)
- Format: M0X
- If Printed = Y and Plate Number > 0 (existing plate) -> calls BP SOPS9147.4 passing Plate Number#XDIMENSION in PARAM<1>. This pgm validates the existing plate# and ensures that the image size works with the bag size.
- If plate# passes validations, the plate description is pased to C419; Image Hgt is passed to C420, Image Width is passed to C421, and print direction is passed to C423

- If BOR=Y and Not Folded in Half and Depth>0 and Width >70 <=80: (Max80 from roll diameter table / true gauge) / (length / 12) ***SOR has same calc but rules don't include Folded in Half and SOR always on a roll
- If BOR=Y and Not Folded in Half and Depth>0 and Width >80 <=90: (Max90 from roll diameter table / true gauge) / (length / 12) ***SOR has same calc but rules don't include Folded in Half and SOR always on a roll
- If BOR=Y and Not Folded in Half and Depth>0 and Width >90 <=98: (Max98 from roll diameter table / true gauge) / (length / 12) ***SOR has same calc but rules don't include Folded in Half and SOR always on a roll
- If BOR=Y and doesn't meet above criteria: (MAX from roll diameter table / true gauge) / (length / 12) ***SOR has same calc but SOR always on a roll
If BOR=N: (MAX from roll diameter table / Yield) * 1000 ***SOR doesn't need this rule because always on a roll - FURN: (MAX from roll diameter table / true gauge) / (width / 12)
- SHEETING/ROLLSHEET: This is 'Max feet/roll':
- If Depth > 0 and Width >60 <=70: Max70 from roll diameter table / true gauge
- If Depth > 0 and Width >70 <=80: Max80 from roll diameter table / true gauge
- If Depth > 0 and Width >80 <=90: Max90 from roll diameter table / true gauge
- If Depth > 0 and Width >90 <=98: Max98 from roll diameter table / true gauge
- If doesn't meet any of above criteria: MAX from roll diameter table / true gauge
- TUBING/ROLLTUBE has same rules and calculations as SHEETING
- BOXMAX BAGS/ROLL IS: (criteria 230)
- If BOR=Y: (BOXMAX from roll diameter table / True Gauge) / (Length / 12) FURN: Same calc except uses Width instead of Length; SOR uses same calc (always on a roll)
- If BOR=N: BOXMAX from roll diameter table *** THIS ISN'T NEEDED (IT'S NEVER USED) BOXW TABLES HAVE BOXMAX=MAX
- SHEETING/ROLLSHEET: BOXMAX from roll diameter table / True Gauge
- TUBING/ROLLTUBE has same rules and calculations as SHEETING
- BEST BAGS ROUNDED: (criteria 188)
- Gets from table BESTBAGS_RND using BEST BAGS/ROLL IS
- Case/Roll Quantity (criteria 189)
- If On Rolls: Defaults to BEST BAGS ROUNDED. Must be in range between MIN BAGS PER ROLL and MAX BAGS PER ROLL:
- If In Cases: Defaults to BEST BAGS ROUNDED. Must be in range between MIN BAGS PER ROLL and MAX BAGS PER ROLL
- These rules do the same thing. Only reason they were separated is so that configurator could change the question from "Number of Bags per Roll" to "Number of Bags per Case" and to show an add'l help message for Rolls: Max Bags per Roll that can be boxed is: xxx
- Standard Cartons?: (criteria 305)
- Format: (Table List) Standard Cartons, Poly Lined, Double Poly Lined
- Default: Standard Cartons
- If Bags on a Roll # Y, Choose one from list
- If Bags on a Roll - don't prompt
- FURN - don't prompt
- SHEETING/ROLLSHEET/SOR - don't prompt
- TUBING/ROLLTUBE - doesn't prompt
- Standard Roll Packaging?: (criteria 306)
- Format (Table List) Cradlepacked, Individually Boxed
- Default: see below
- If Bags on a Roll =Y and Width >= 14": Choose one from list - defaulted to Cradlepacked
- If Bags on a Roll # Y OR Width < 10": No prompt - forced to individually boxed
- If Bags on a Roll=Y and Width >=10" <14": Choose one from list - defaulted to Individually Boxed
- FURN - Has both options - default to Cradlepacked (has rule that Length must be >=14, but since length can never be < 24" then this isn't needed)
- SHEETING/ROLLSHEET/SOR - same rules as bags, except doesn't check for BOR=Y because sheeting/sheets are always on a roll
- TUBING/ROLLTUBE - same rules as bags, except doesn't check for BOR=Y because tubing is always on a roll
- FORCE CRADLEPACK? (criteria 377)
- Format: M0X
- Forced to Cradlepacked if: BOR=Y and Width>=10 and Bags per Roll > Maximum Bags per Roll and Std Roll Packaging # Cradlepacked - error message is displayed and Cradlepacked is Forced
- FURN - If Length >= 14" and Bags Per Roll > Maximum Bags per Roll and # Cradlepacked: Force to Cradlepacked and display error message
- SHEETING/ROLLSHEET/SOR - same rules as bags except doesn't check for BOR (always BOR). Sheeting/Rollsheet use Feet per Roll instead of Bags or Sheets per Roll
- TUBING/ROLLTUBE- same rules as bags except doesn't check for BOR (always BOR). Uses Feet per Roll instead of Bags per Roll
- Freight: (criteria 16)
- Format: (Table List) Prepaid, FOB
