New Stock Only Categories (like Wipers)
Widget:
- Using the template, verify that the Nested Menu in the Category drop-down is set up as specified. Be sure to test each new menu option.
- If the template specifies that level 2 and 3 are disabled (no dimension or level 3 selections allowed) - this is considered a BROAD SEARCH category, showing all stock items in this category. This is usually reserved for categories that don't have many items:
- Are defaults showing properly (or blank)?
- Are all fields disabled except for Printing and Venting?
- Printing/Venting should be enabled, but should only show a comment that Printing/Venting is not available with this selection.
- If level 2/3 should be enabled:
- Verify that width, depth, length and gauge are enabled properly, and showing correct defaults (if any).
- Verify that the range validations are correct for each field.
- For level 3, verify that only valid options are enabled. The unavailable options s/b greyed out.
- Printing/Venting should be enabled, but should only show a comment that Printing/Venting is not available with this selection.
Results:
- For broad search categories, all stock items for this category should be shown.
- When level 2/3 selections can be made to limit the dimensions and level 3 selections, Results should reflect an exact match if found, and YMACs for any stock items within the dimension variances allowed for this category.
- Verify the item size and item description in Purple are correct.
- Click on the purple description:
- Verify the Description Tab text is correct.
- Verify the Specifications Tab categories are correct and that there is a picture of the product.
- Verify that the Item Weight is correct.
- The COUNT field should always be disabled for Stock Items - Verify that the Packaging is correct (Cases/Rolls).
- The Minimum Quantity should always be 1 for Stock Items.
- Verify the AS LOW AS PRICE is correct when the customer gets Price Breaks (has a price list below P1). Also verify the price break quantities and prices. If you see LIVE CHAT for the price, prices have not been established yet.
- Verify the SHIP DATE - the item must have been set up with planning parameters. If you see LIVE CHAT for the Ship Date, planning parameters have not been established for all warehouses.
- Select a Quantity. If the customer has price breaks, verify that the Price that you see is for the quantity that you just entered in Results. Note that this price may be lower in the cart, because the cart prices based on the total quantity of ALL stock items in the cart. The results price is based on the results quantity only. Check that the Total below the quantity is correct for the quantity x price.
- Save the Item in Results
- Share the Item in Results
- Add the item to the cart
Quick Search:
- Test the Keywords in the Quick Search Box at the top of the Widget (Keywords should be in the template).
- Quick Search one of the items from the new Category and make sure it pushes the correct data through the widget
Cart/Checkout:
- In the active cart: Quick Add one of the new items
- Change the quantity on a new item and make sure re-pricing is correct
- Share the cart with yourself
- Checkout the cart
- Add a customer part# to one of the new items in the Label Checkout Screen
- Place the order and review the Order Acknowledgement
Order History:
- Review the newly created order/label
- Review the Tracking/Status screen
- Re-price one of the new items from the Order
My Items:
- The new stock item should now appear in My Items from the SAVE that you did in Results. Select it to push it back through the widget.
- Add it to your cart.
New MOD Categories (like Clean Room, where a clean room ZT is different than a non-clean room ZT)
Widget:

- Level 2 - Dimensions:
- Verify that width, depth, length, gauge and full gauge are enabled properly, and showing correct defaults (if any).
- Verify that the range validations are correct for each field.
- Level 3:
- Materials:
- Verify that the correct Material default value is showing.
- Verify that allowed Materials and Additives are enabled, and disallowed are greyed-out.
- Color:
- Verify that the correct Color default is showing.
- If no film color is allowed, Color should be disabled. If enabled, verify that allowed Colors are enabled, and disallowed are greyed-out.
- Verify allowed Opacity with selected color (ie, Opaque only available with Black Film Color under certain gauge conditions).
- Printing:
- Should always be enabled. If not allowed for this category, you should see a comment stating that it's unavailable.
- If allowed, verify that the correct options (Registered and/or Random Repeat) are enabled.
- Test quick price, upload artwork, existing artwork, and text all the way through order creation.
- Venting:
- Should always be enabled. If not allowed for this category, you should see a comment stating that it's unavailable.
- If allowed, verify that the correct options are available
- Verify all defaults after #vent holes is selected
- Packaging:
- Verify that the correct Packaging Default is showing.
- If no packaging changes are allowed, Packaging should be disabled. If enabled, verify that the allowed packaging options are enabled, and disallowed are greyed out.
- Materials:
Results:
- You should see at least one MOD result for the entered widget selections:
- For Marketplace, you may also see an IMPORT MOD, which has different Ship Date
- For Laddawn-made, you may also see a Rolls, Cradlepacked option.
- If a MOD result is the first in the list, you may see stock YMACs for items close to the selected dimensions.
- If a stock result is the first in the list, you should see the MOD(s) in the YMAC list.
- Verify the item size and item description in Purple are correct.
- Click on the purple description:

- Verify the Specifications Tab categories are correct and that there is a picture of the product.
- Verify that the Item Weight is correct.
- Verify the defaulted COUNT. Verify the low/high ranges for this field (and that entry is in correct multiples if required).
- Verify the defaulted Minimum Quantity by hovering over the Quantity box. Verify that you cannot enter a quantity below this minimum.
- Verify the AS LOW AS PRICE is correct (for Laddawn MODs, this is the price for 8x the minimum quantity. For Marketplace, this comes from the Excel Spreadsheet.
- Verify the MOD price breaks, and enter custom price breaks if allowed. If you see LIVE CHAT for the Unit Price, there is something wrong with the Excel Spreadsheet (Marketplace) or with the Pricing Logic (Laddawn MOD). If the change you are testing has to do with pricing, be sure to test a customer/MOD item that has a Contract Price. Be sure to quote some of the quantity breaks to verify that the pricing shown in the price breaks is correct.
- Verify the SHIP DATE: For Marketplace, the lead time is different for each category and whether it is printed or not. For Laddawn MODs, lead time is by Plant and Work Center.
- Select a Quantity. For Marketplace, pricing is from the spreadsheet. For Laddawn MODs, pricing is calculated based on current Resin Pricing, etc. Check that the Total below the quantity is correct for the quantity x price.
- Check the SHOW ME to see other items you have created for the same width/length. Verify that the differences are underlined properly. To test a category like Clean Room Zip Tops, first create a non-clean room Zip Top of a particular size and get a MOD Item# for it. Then select Clean Room Zip Top for the exact same size. If it switches to the non-clean room MOD item, there's a problem. It s/b able to differentiate between the old category (zip tops) and the new category (clean room zip tops). Select one of the SHOW ME options.
- Save the Item in Results.
- Share the Item in Results - check the share email to verify the overrun % (for Laddawn MODs, it's always +/- 10%, for Marketplace is varies by category).
- Add the MOD item to the cart.
- Check the Quote# in Avante /QUO2000 and make sure that all data looks correct (including configurator).
Quick Search:

- Add a customer part# to one of the new items in the Label Checkout Screen
- Place the order and review the Order Acknowledgement
Order History:
- Review the newly created order/label
- Review the Tracking/Status screen
- Re-price one of the new MOD items from the Order

New MOD categories (like Food Service, where the categories in this menu are a duplicate of another menu selection. I.e., Tamper Evident and Food Service Tamper Evident.
