Overview
Clicking a headline or "Details" link from a search result...
.... will open a shadow box with a full product description.
The description serves to confirm for the user what the product is as well as what it isn't. It enables the user to see all the attributes of the product in one place.
The product description will consist of:
- Expanded product details. It will include all product parameters, repeating those that are shown in the search result, as well as those that aren't shown (such as defaults that haven't been overridden - for example, "Materials: Standard." It will also include construction, and roll diameter (where applicable) details that are not search parameters and which don't show in the results.
- Some generic information derived from product spec sheets, including gauge tolerances based on dimensions for the item.
- Representative photo of the product. Where applicable, up to 3 additional photos depicting products that are listed under more than one category, based on distinct uses (e.g., pallet top cover and gaylord liner).
- Where appropriate, it will also reference Laddawn brands like Smart-Tech
