It has been decided that the Optio Sales Order Acknowledgement will be emailed/faxed to the contact after each stock/MOD order is created from Checkout Summary after 'place order' has been selected. We will not be writing a UI email version of the summary page at Phase I.
Optio Sales Order Acknowledgement (timeline 64-11):
The PDF version of the sales order acknowledgement will be emailed/faxed from the website, from SOP4000, and from the reprint menu. The text version of the email will no longer be sent.
- Changes to SOPS5000.3 for acknowledgements sent from SOP4000 (order entry)
- Changes to LDLIB RPC$SHOPPINGCART_CREATE ORDER: New subr SEND.ACKNOWLEDGEMENT with calls after creation of stock or MOD order
- SOP5000 - print/reprint from the menu option didn't require any changes
We will allow multiple copies to be sent to the cc list available on the Checkout Summary screen. This feature will not be added to Avante. The cc list could contain contacts as well as manually entered email addresses.
We will not write cc info to the sales order.
