  • What kinds of info are you trying to making room for via ticket 15361? (Add 2 lines of description to NS-buy quotations.) Can we train people to use the current 3 lines more efficiently? There is hesitance to add these lines because the form may not accommodate them cleanly. Also, unsure if it makes sense to do this while we are also working to move these quotes to the web.

  • Which questions are mandatory and which are optional?
    -That would be best, however there are questions that we can provide suggested answers to or allow for acceptable answers between set parameters.
  • Are there any categories that are not in our widget menus? Many questions could conceivably be answered via the widget or results (venting, quantity, etc.) but some are not. Need to catalog which ones.
    Amber: Can be selected under reclosables. Tier 2 dimensions are open for inputs. Bottom gusset missing. Tier 3 is locked. Layflat amber missing from widget menu.
    Black Conductive: Can be selected under static control. Tier 2 dimensions inputs locked. Tier 3 locked.

  • Are some or all of the lip & tape quotes going away when we roll lip & tape to the widget? Which ones need to remain as NS?
    -Yes. Some of the lip & tape quotes will be handled by the widget once the pricing model goes live. One's that are printed, wicketed, or have a bottom gusset will still have to be manually done as an NS Buy.
  • Can you give me a sense of how many quotes are done in each category? I compared these to the categories listed in your spreadsheet (with numbers of quotes done in a recent 2-week period).  I didn't expect to see all of the categories from the Word document in the spreadsheet , but I did (sort of) expect to see data in the spreadsheet, for each of the categories in the Word document. Below is my correlation: 
    -I think you've deduced a good correlation of the ones we see the most of and the ones we see the least of. However this is a snap shot of 2 weeks for quotes, and many of these products have busy seasons or experience longer term economic factors that influence demand. Also when something new occurs internally relating to a certain product category we often see a period of increased in demand for that product.
