Annual Formula:

Any account managed or not managed get samples, no postage charge, samples are $20 for the first sample SKU on an order and $10 for the next sample SKU on the same order.

 

Last years’ sales are less than $15,000 = $150 Samples Bank (first customer assigned price level: M1)

greater than $15K and less than $30K = $225 Samples Bank (Price level: A1)

greater than $30K and less than $50K = $300 Samples Bank (Price level: P1)

greater than $50K and less than $90K = $75 Samples Bank + $75 for every $10K in sales (Price level: F1)

greater than $90K and less than $250K = $525 Samples Bank + $75 for every $20K in sales (Price level: E1)

greater than $250K and less than $1M = $450 Samples Bank + $1,050 for every $250K in sales (Price level: U1)

greater than $1M = $4,500 Samples Bank + $1,500 for every additional $1M in sales (Price level: U1 (cont.))

Prorated Formulas for the Start of the Program:

When implemented, the samples bank should be:

(a) prorated for the remaining days in the calendar year and

(b) adjusted to reflect the samples already taken in the calendar year.

So:

(a) There are 365 days in calendar 2015.  Count the number of days left in the year on the day this programming goes live and multiply that percentage times the Samples Bank Totals.

(b) Subtract the cumulative number of samples taken for the year at the time the programming goes live.

Assumption: (1) Avante will calculate sample limits annually.  (2) Avante will provide flag a sample order that equals a distributor’s pre-determined number. (2) Relationship or Experience Partners my over-write distributors’ sample limits.

 

The  following script may be handled over the phone (for phone-in sample orders) or in a canned email (for fax, email, or web sample orders).

For the Medium to Larger Customer (>$100K/year)

 

  • Did you know that we have sent (big number) sample orders for you already this year?
  • That puts you at your limit.
  • But don’t worry. We’ve already sent out your last sample request.
  • Your Rep will call you to adjust your samples for you.

 

For the Small / Growing Customer (has a Relationship Partner assigned to them)

 

  • Did you know that we have sent (number) sample orders for you already this year?
  • That puts you at your limit.
  • But don’t worry. We’ve already sent out your last sample request.
  • Your Rep will call you to revisit your samples limit with you.

 

For the Small Customer (does not have a Relationship Partner assigned to them)

 

  • Did you know that we have sent (number) sample orders for you already this year?
  • That puts you at your limit.
  • But don’t worry. We’ve already sent out your last sample request.
  • You should know, however, that free samples will no longer be available to you for the remainder of this calendar year.
  • Samples may now be provided for a fee of $10.
