Clearview

It's interesting that all the Clearview examples are sideweld bags, yet unlike other vendors (see next section), they always show each side side-by-side as opposed to all-in-one.

Zip top with sombrero hang hole, printing on lip

I like the spot weld comment and the annotations for open end/closed end.

Note the reference to white as a color, this is white backer for better ink opacity.

Some comments and annotations seem unnecessary - for example, "no print on this side" and description of hang hole.

Others we handle in different, but equally adequate ways (eg gray = clear). Should we consider saying more about colors... "representation purposes only" and "refer to PMS color chart"? I don't think so, but curious about what others think.

I shall assume we are still not interested in showing/mentioning registration marks (sometimes microdots).

Co-ex poly mailer, permanent tape

It's interesting that they have annotations indicating "front side" and "back side" - but these must be manually designated by whoever is eyeballing the design when creating the drawing. I imagine that if the customer puts their main "front" art on the short side, then the vendor, shows short side first (annotated as front), and long side second (annotated as back). Unfortunately, that's not something we can automate (unless we prompt the user to tell us what is front and back).

I like the way they show the corner of long side turned over (dog ear) to show the tape side. But it seems like we could stick with how we've shown it in the canvas - fully facing the viewer at the top of the short side.

Wicketed bottom gusset bag

Not sure why wicket holes are not shown. According to Caitlin this has a perforated bag release (also not shown). The holes that are shown are vent holes.

Interesting that this does not use long side/short side, but rather front/back - again, probably designated manually when vendor created drawing.

Not the "indicates white plate" annotation - it's a little confusing. I believe this is white backing.

Note the reference to "web width" (the length of the deconstructed bag - front, back, and bottom gusset?).
