Meeting notes (Jim)

Below is the list of takeaways from today’s meeting.  Please let me know of questions or concerns:

  • David Low and Judy will work together to get a list of rules that will support the items we are willing make as NS.
  • David Wholey and Jayna will work together to identify all of the questions they need answered in order to get well informed NS Buy information at the point of entry.
  • David Low is also going to identify the NS Makes that we currently do that are good candidates to be built into our standard offering.

As a sanity check I will summarize what I think the goals of the project – please feel to comment on or enhance the list:

  • Get NS Entry onto the web so as to eliminate the confusion and inefficiencies associated with using Avante for this purpose.
  • Capture all needed data into both the NS Make and NS Buy pipelines to eliminate most or all “back and forth” activities.
  • Identify all NS Makes that are good candidates to add to our standard offering (has happened to some degree already)
  • Identify and transition NS Buys to Marketplace status (I think this is the process already)
  • Streamline and automate all fulfillment activities of the departments involved in both NS Make and NS Buy items. I agree this is a goal, but may not be within scope for a first release. -SP, 1/20/16

I did not schedule the next meeting, please feel free to do so at your discretion.
