Spreadsheet:
Instructions (also embedded in spreadsheet):
- Each "END" line represents the end of a unique path.
- Test one path at a time, using one of the 4 customer types at a time, using one copy of this sheet per test.
- Read through the script and determine which path you're going to test.
- Make a copy of this sheet, then hide all the irrelevant rows so you don't get lost or have to scroll. Highlight the column representing the customer you are testing.
- Then be sure your test customer has the appropriate preferences set on the web (if applicable to the test) and in Avante - for email v. fax acknowledgments.
- When you get to the Shipping & Packaging screen in checkout during your test, it is not necessary to test all 3 of the "must ship today"/warehouse time scenarios. Just choose the scenario that best fits your current situation (in the Pass/Fail column, type "skipped" in the rows you do not test).
- Record all of your findings in the pass/fail column, in a separate document (best for screenshots), or a combination of the two. Do not open any tickets, but be prepared to do so.
