Scenario 1 - Layflat Biohazrd Bag
- Knew to go to random repeat right away
- really hit a roadblock after that - was confused about what to do next, needed a little guidance but got to the images
- also very confused about what size to select - asking a lot of questions about what size is the best choice
- finally just chose 4x4 and placed the image, then clicked find
- liked the results page, was asked about the download PDF, guessed that it was a proof, but wasn't sure
Scenario 2 - JetBlue Bag
- knew to click to random repeat right away
- asked what's white box "i Have no idea, looks like white block to me" or "maybe this is where I upload my own?"
- went back to RR/RP screen and started over
- like Juan, missed the three tabs on the left
- finally found the three tabs, found the logo and placed it, clicked FIND
Scenario 3 - Split Rock Lighthouse
- Clicked registered print and click here to gert started
- Clicked my computer tab, found the file, uploaded it
- asked what the orange square does
- asked how to move it, we asked how do you think? she grabbed the box and tried to move (correct)
- was able to change color to black without issue
- clicked find
Scenario 4 - Quick Quote
- "So I know nothing? They have to know if they want registered or random?"
- Guessed on registered, get started and chose quick quote
- did nothing with artwork and clicked find
Scenario 5 - Caution: Hot Contents
- chose registered and click here box, clicked text, clicked within text box
- clicked find, said she wuold download the PDF for proof
Scenario 6 - Recycle #4
- chose random repeat
- clicked get started
- found the recycle image with no issue
- again got stuck on size of image, but clicked 2x2
- easily found color to change, clicked find
Scenario 7 - Menudo Mix
- chose registered right away
- click here to get started, browsed and selected image easily
- clicked find and said she would share
- Jay asked her to go back to the start again
- Jay asked her how she thinks she wuold resize the image - she said "drag it with the orange box"
- was asked about the colors - she said "it shows you what colors are in the artwork"
Scenario 8 - YMCA
- chose registered right away
- uploaded artwork w no problem
- choose artwork (she asked if she should), but did it
- added logo easily
- had a hard time finding color dropdown to change color of text and warning, wasn't sure where to change color - "I don;'t know"
- "nothing up here says color to me"
- finally found it after a minute and changed the color for both
- far easier to change the warning because the color pallette was more obvious than the text one
- "the dropdown menu for color isn't obvious"
- "customers can't figure out ship-to's, they'll never figure out the color dropdown"
Confidence level today quoting a customer a print job: "7 or 8 right now"
Confidence level with this new tool: "This one is better because you can see what you have, can go back and fix, can send proof to customer. Probably a 9."
What would make this easier: "how do you figure out the actual size of the image to choose?" (she was very confused during testing about which size image to choose - ex. 4x4 or custom?)
Went back to RR page and was asked how she would change spacing between images - she found it right away, but said she wasn't confident that a customer would know it.
Asked about the grey buttons, wasn't sure why they would want to zoom in or out. Didnt' know what duplicate was, either. We tried to have her guess, she was very unsure but guessed correctly.
Was asked if she knew what an ISpot was - she had no idea. Was asked if she knew if it was printed on the bag or not, she said no idea. Thought it was "some web feature" because it began with I.
"Can you do this for venting? That would be even easier than this."
