Test intro
Thank you for agreeing to help us test a prototype of a new tool for quoting printed bags that we hope to launch soon.
My colleagues here are "observers" - their role is simply to take notes.
We're going to give you some tasks to perform using this prototype. We'd like you to "think out loud" as you go. Tell us what choices you are making and why.
We're not here to test how tech savvy you are - in fact, if there's something you have a hard time doing, it's probably because we need to improve our design. If you get stuck, we'll help you get unstuck.
The prototype has many clickable buttons and features to take you through your tasks - however, it is not fully functional in all respects - so sometimes we'll skip steps you might carry out in real life (like typing), or portions of the screen will just be static and we'll just ask you to describe what you would do if the tools were fully functional.
< Go through as many scenarios as possible. When the time is right to wrap up, as a courtesy, give tester opportunity to express opinions - what did you like/not like and why? What's missing? >
User tasks
Questions for the end of testing
What is your confidence level about the quotes you just created?
Is there one person at your company that everyone goes to quote printed jobs?
How many print jobs did you quote/order (total, not just Laddawn) over the last 6-12 months?
How does your experience with this prototype compare with quoting printed jobs with other vendors?
Is there something missing in our prototype that you'd like to see?
