Note: There is some overlap between this and bundling testing which involves backorder preferences.

1. Set preferences on global basis - override all defaults, including CE and CE management settings.
2. Set preferences on location specific basis which override all global preferences set on prior step (as applicable), including CE management settings
   1. Also change address settings - attention line, type of location (warehouse v. dropship), type of address (business/residential/limited access)
3. Remember to click 'apply' and 'save' every time changes are made
4. Take a snapshot of both sets of preferences for easy reference and comparison
5. Leave preferences area and come back - did your preferences really get saved? (compare w/snapshots)
6. Check cart out to location that inherits the global settings - have they all carried through correctly to the relevant checkout screens?
   1. May need to do this with carts that have multiple combinations of lines in order to trigger the appropriate preference action
7. Check cart out to the location you set up with settings that override the global settings - have they all carried through correctly to the relevant checkout screens?
   1. Again, may need to do this with carts that have multiple combinations of lines in order to trigger the appropriate preference action

6. 900 comments - are they making it on to the right documents - BOL, packslip, work order traveler, warehouse pickslip. Are they displaying as expected in checkout?

3667 - unable to overwrite a populated attention line with null or new contents (only evident after applly/save/leave and return)

4534 -'make this a preference for' checkbox

Need to cover items that are only made in certain warehouses and quantities that trigger alternate warehouses or back order situations - also interplay with preferences like CPU

Need some help from someone with subject matter expertise which items are only made at certain warehouses.

Bundling in Checkout

Review all specifications:

• design specifications
• Default bundles and overrides
• Programming specs

Test as distributor with all three preferences - are the bundles you're seeing in Checkout reflecting them?

• Always ship complete
• Allow partial shipments

Test as an individual location with all three preferences

Test as distributor with CPU cart (and/or preference)

For all the above 7 scenarios, use quantity and availability info in active cart to create carts with the following situations:

• One line of stock available at primary warehouse
• Two lines of stock:
  1. Available at primary
  2. Available at alternate,  partial at primary
• Two lines of stock:
  1. Available at primary
  2. Partial at primary, partial at alternate
• Two lines of stock:
  • Available at alternate, partial at primary
  • Partial at primary, partial at alternate
• Two lines of stock, both are partial at primary, partial at alternate (overkill?)
• Repeat all of the above situations with 1-2 MOD lines in the cart

Are all of the bundling choices you should see in each of these scenarios/situations present?

Run through choosing every option available within bundling pop-up

Check what you see in bundling popup and on main screen - is it what you expect, correct, etc.?

Test all preferences on an individual basis.

Shop widget validations - correctly allowing/preventing entry of various combinations
of parameters and/or returning results/no results

Results returned from searches - run through all categories for all 5 groups

Result headings - See Comprehensive search result scenarios

Result sorting

YMACs - are they what you would expect, are they relevant, etc.

Product descriptions

• Headline
• Detail below headline
• Full description (when headline is clicked to expand description, specifications and tab)
• Image (where applicable)
• SmartTech logos? Other logos?

Check to ensure every stock item can be found via item # search? Or a representative sample?

I tested Workgroups- the ability to block certain users from seeing your stuff. This was actually working quite well.

There are open tickets concerning workshare - automatic CC'ing of certain people when you share  or order; this can't be tested till those are resolved.

See also: users working on behalf of other users (saved items) - run tests to see if this is happening as spec'd.

Review these notes and specifications; test to verify working as spec'd

Logging in; should see drop down to switch between bill to orgs - test switching; are all your saved items/saved carts/order history lists changing to reflect the bill to you are working on.

Test ability to have up to one active cart per bill to going at a time - see Allowing Master Users to have more than one "CURRENT" cart.
